Achieve Tahoe Summer Programs
Project Partners: Achieve Tahoe
Funds Granted to Date: $100,000
Matching Campaign Total: $50,000
Tahoe is known for its recreation opportunities, but unfortunately these experiences are not always accessible to everyone.
Achieve Tahoe offers winter and summer recreation activities for people with disabilities and their families. Each year, the organization serves provides over 3,000 lessons in snow skiing, sailing, climbing, hiking, paddle sports and much more.
With support from the Tahoe Fund, the nonprofit has been able to expand their offerings to include adaptive summer activities, provide scholarships for participants who could not afford the program enrollment cost, invest in supplies and equipment, training for staff and volunteers, and more.
The Tahoe Fund recently held a $25,000 matching campaign to support Achieve Tahoe’s summer recreation programs in 2024.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to unlock the $25,000 match provided by Putnam Lexus, courtesy of Marty and Anne Putnam, raising a total of $50,000 for Achieve Tahoe!
